Ingredients:
- 3 cups crushed RUFFLES® Original Potato Chips, divided, plus whole chips for decoration
- ½ cup prepared caramel dessert sauce
- 30 pieces of DOVE® PROMISES® Dark Chocolate, unwrapped
- 16 pieces of DOVE® PROMISES® Milk Chocolate, unwrapped
- ¼ cup SKITTLES® Original Fruity Candies
- Optional: assorted sizes of candy eyes, Halloween-themed sprinkles
How to make it:
- Line a 13x9 inch pan or 1/4-sized sheet tray with non-stick aluminum foil. Allowing for some overhang on two sides. Set aside.
- Place 3 cups crushed RUFFLES® Original potato chips into a large bowl. Add the caramel sauce to the bowl and, using either your hands, a spatula, or spoon, mix together the chips and sauce until the chips are coated with the caramel. (If using your hands, spray your hands with cooking spray to help keep the mixture from sticking to your hands.) The mixture will still be somewhat loose. Empty the contents of the bowl into the prepared pan. Spray the bottom of a flat-bottomed cup or glass with cooking spray and use it to press the mixture firmly into the pan to form a uniformly flat layer. Place the pan into the refrigerator for 5 minutes to set up.
- Place 2 cups of DOVE® PROMISES® Dark Chocolate into a large, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high at 30-second intervals, stirring after each interval until the chocolate has melted. Place 1 cup of DOVE® PROMISES® Milk Chocolate into a medium, microwave-safe bowl and melt the chocolate following the same procedure as for the dark chocolate.
- Remove the pan containing the RUFFLES®/caramel layer from the refrigerator. Pour the melted DOVE® PROMISES® Dark Chocolate into the pan and spread to the edges of the pan with a knife or an offset spatula. Then drop small spoonful’s of the DOVE® PROMISES® Milk Chocolate randomly over the dark chocolate, leaving mostly dark chocolate visible. Slowly drag your knife through the milk chocolate pools in swirl-like patterns to decoratively mix the two chocolates. Once the pattern is to your liking, immediately sprinkle the remaining ¼ cup of crushed RUFFLES® chips and the whole RUFFLES® chips onto the wet chocolate. Fill any empty spots with the SKITTLES® Original Fruity Candies, and, if desired, the candy eyes and sprinkles. Put the pan into the refrigerator until the chocolate has fully set, about 30 — 45 minutes.
- When ready to serve, use the foil to help remove the bark from the pan. Break the bark into serving-sized pieces and place it onto a plate or platter to serve. You can also peel the foil from the bark, keeping the entire sheet of bark intact, and place it directly onto a platter, allowing guests to break off individual pieces.
