Ingredients:
- DORITOS® Nacho Cheese tortilla chips (approximately 1/4 cup crumbs), plus 21 complete triangles
- Approximately 6 SNICKERS® Minis Chocolate bars
- 4 oz. Light cream cheese softened at room temperature
- 2 oz. Goat cheese softened at room temperature
- Pinch of salt
- Approximately 10 DOVE® PROMISES® Dark Chocolate, unwrapped
- 4 Tbsp. poppy seeds 14 medium-sized candy eyes
How to make it:
- In a food processor, grind DORITOS® chips into small crumbs (not a powder). Empty crumbs from the processor into a medium-sized bowl.
- Place unwrapped SNICKERS® Minis Chocolate bars into a food processor bowl and pulse until small to fine crumbs are formed. Place crumbs into the same bowl with the DORITOS® crumbs.
- Place cream cheese and goat cheese, with a pinch of salt, into the food processor on high until combined and smooth. Add contents of DORITOS®/ SNICKERS® Minis Chocolate bars bowl into food processor as well and pulse just until the contents are combined.
- Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, scoop out approximately 1 ½ tablespoons of the cheese mixture and drop onto parchment. Continue scooping until all of the cheese mixture has been used. Place the baking sheet into the refrigerator for 30 minutes or until firm enough to handle.
- Pour poppy seeds into a medium-sized bowl. Once the cheese balls are firm, remove them from the refrigerator and roll them between your palms into smooth balls. Press two candy eyes into each cheese ball. Avoiding the eyes, roll each cheese ball in the poppy seeds to cover and place back on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Place back into the refrigerator.
- Line a second baking sheet with parchment paper. In a medium-sized, microwave-safe bowl, place DOVE® PROMISES® Dark Chocolate pieces and microwave on high in 30 second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring in between each interval. Take 12 of the full DORITOS® triangles, one at a time, and dip one flat end into the melted chocolate, then place it on the parchment-lined baking sheet. Continue until all 12 of the full triangles have been dipped in the chocolate. Allow to set for about 10 minutes.
- Right before serving, reheat the chocolate to melt it if necessary. Remove the cheese balls from the refrigerator. Using a spoon, place approximately 1 teaspoon of melted chocolate into the middle of the remaining full triangles, one at a time, and placing a cheese ball on top of the chocolate. Continue until each cheese ball is on top of a triangle. Allow the chocolate to set for about 5 minutes.
- Press two of the chocolate-dipped DORITOS® triangles, chocolate facing away from the cheese ball, into the sides of each cheese ball to make wings. Place on a tray to serve.
