Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp salt 2 sticks
- (1 cup) unsalted butter, softened at room temperature
- 1 ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups crushed LAY'S® Original Potato Chips, divided, plus 25 single chips for decoration
- 1/4 cup M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies
- 1 16 oz can of whipped white vanilla icing
- 50 large candy eyes (2 per blondie)
How to make it:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Spray a 13x9 inch baking pan with cooking spray, then line the pan with parchment paper.
- Mix flour, baking powder and salt together in a medium-sized bowl and set aside.
- In the bowl of a stand mixer or in a large bowl with a hand mixer, cream the softened butter and both sugars together until smooth and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition until blended. Stir in vanilla. Add flour mixture to the sugar mixture and combine just until no streaks of flour remain. Using a spoon or spatula, mix in 2 cups of the crushed LAY'S® and the M&M’S® Milk Chocolate Candies, evenly distributing them throughout the dough.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared pan and bake in the center of the oven for 30 — 35 minutes, or until golden brown. Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack to cool completely.
- When completely cooled, cut blondies into 25 individual squares.
- Spoon 1 cup of the whipped vanilla icing into a small microwave-safe bowl. Heat on medium in 10-second intervals until the icing flows smoothly when stirred. Spoon about 2 tablespoons of icing onto each blondie square, covering the top and letting the excess flow over the edges.
- While the icing sets slightly, put ½ cup of the remaining vanilla icing into a resealable plastic bag and cut a small corner off of the bag. Place one LAY'S® Classic chip onto each blondie square. Using the bag of icing, squeeze two dots of icing towards the top of each chip and attach two candy eyes to each chip. Drizzle icing across the top of the chip to make the mummy. Sprinkle with extra crushed LAY'S® if desired. Plate and serve.
